  9.     The [S]can function allows you to read the TO, FROM, and
  10.     SUBJECT of messages.  You may scan the mail by specifying
  11.     a starting message number, or you may scan all new mail since
  12.     your last message read.
  13.  
  14.     If you do not enter any command line parameters, you will be
  15.     displayed a menu line asking you what you wish to do.
  16.  
  17.     If you type  S S  from the main command prompt, a list of 
  18.     messages since the last message you read will be displayed.
  19.  
  20.     From the main command prompt, you may also enter a starting
  21.     or ending message number (suffixed by a + or a -) to start
  22.     the scan at any message number of your choice.
